Brazilian left back, Dalbert has publicly announced that he is going to snub the interest from various European giants including Liverpool for a move to Inter Milan. The Nice left back played a pivotal role in the club’s Ligue 1 campaign last season and the qualification to the Champions League.

Dalbert’s time at Allainz Riviera has come to an abrupt end, after he joined the French club last season. No fewer than 10 European clubs have come calling for the Brazil-born left back, but he has brushed off all the interest and has claimed that Inter’s offer is the one which he finds irresistible.

The 23 year old had revealed earlier that out of all the clubs, Liverpool seemed the most interested club.

However he has already urged his club officials to agree terms with Inter Milan, dashing the hopes of millions of Reds around the world, who would have been happy to see him in the left back position in the next season.

The player is quoted saying by Squawka –

It was a magic moment for me and the whole team. We had a fantastic season and it was only natural that proposals arrived,

My agent was contacted by over 10 European clubs, including Liverpool and Inter, who progressed in their desire to have me in the squad.

Inter made a proposal that I find to be irresistible and I think over the next few days we can have a happy outcome for everyone.

Dalbert was a favorite in Lucien Favre’s squad as he missed just 5 matches in the last season. He registered 4 assists in total. He can play in the left hand side of the midfield too, and certainly would have been an upgrade for Liverpool’s current first choice left back, James Milner.

Liverpool, after realizing the above fact, had switched their interest back to the Hull City left back, Andrew Robertson. The deal is already very much closer to get finalized.

The Scot has been linked with the Reds for quite some time and in the recent weeks the negotiations have stepped up, according to reports.

Alberto Moreno, Liverpool’s current second choice left back has failed to impress the boss in the last 2 seasons and is most certainly on his way out. He was not part of the squad for the 2 friendlies that Liverpool have played.
