Everton are having a dream transfer window so far having already signed Jordan Pickford, Wayne Rooney and Michael Keane. It looks like it is going to get even better as they look to bring Theo Walcott from Arsenal and Christian Benteke from Crystal Palace.

Daily Star claims that Everton are preparing a £30m move for Arsenal winger Theo Walcott, who has not lived up to his potential during his time at the club and may well be allowed to leave Arsenal.

Ever since Arsene Wenger switched to the new 3-4-3 formation, Theo Walcott has struggled to break into the side as the manager prefers to rather have a defensive right full back in the form of Hector Bellerin or Alex Oxlade Chamberlain.

Theo does not prefer to play in the defensive position and Wenger does not like to play him through the middle due to his poor finishing in the recent past which practically does not leave any position for him in the new setup at Arsenal.

The report also adds that Ronald Koeman is considering a move for Crystal Palace striker Benteke to boost his forward line.

Everton lost their top scorer Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United this summer and are lacking options up front.

Wayne Rooney ‘s entry has added a little to the front line but it is not possible for him to play every game given his fitness and age which is why a more potent centre forward is a big priority for Koeman this summer. Christian Benteke seems like the best man for that job at the moment.

It would be interesting to see now whether Arsenal and Crystal Palace actually let the two leave for Everton this summer.
