Antonio Conte and Chelsea are keen on signing Swansea City striker, Fernando Llorente. Chelsea look set to lose Diego Costa in the summer and are in pursuit of a top quality striker to lead the line next season.

It was expected that Lukaku would move to Stamford Bridge but in an unexpected turn around, Manchester United have agreed to sign Lukaku from Everton according to various English outlets including BBC and Sky Sports.

That move by Jose Mourinho has left Antonio Conte baffled and the Italian has turned towards Fernando llorente who he believes is the right man for the job at Chelsea.

Daily Star has claimed that Antonio Conte is looking at Spaniard, Fernando Llorente as a backup striker for next season.

Llorente certainly provides height and strength upfront; he can hold the ball well, finish clinically and is a brilliant header of the ball too. He was tipped to join Chelsea last season as well but things did not go as planned.

The Spaniard played a vital role in Swansea‘s stay in Premier League next season as he scored 15 times to help them avoid relegation.

Antonio Conte is looking to add more bench strength to his side as Chelsea look to get back in the Champions league next season where they will need a bigger set of players to rotate and avoid injuries due to fatigue.

Monaco ‘s defensive midfielder Bokayoko is another man on Chelsea ‘s radar and a deal can be completed very soon which will be followed by a deal for Fernando Llorente who will definitely be the right fit at Chelsea given that their style of play suits the 32 year old Spaniard.
