According to reporter Chris Bascombe of the Telegraph, England number 1 Joe Hart, is set to secure a loan move away from Manchester City to West Ham.
There were many clubs interested in signing the Englishman but were apprehensive after being handed his wage demands of £120,000-a-week. The Hammers fans were very unsure of the move taking place but according to recent reports, the move is eminent.
The shot stopper was offered to many clubs for a fee of £20million this summer but there has not been a single taker which has made the possibility of him joining West Ham on loan with a view to making it a permanent deal in a year’s time very likely.
The clubs have reportedly sat and discussed terms in the last 24 hours which has led to the Citizens finally budging on their stance of selling him permanently.
Hart has been away on loan at Serie A side Torino after being sparsely used by City gaffer Pep Guardiola at the beginning of last season. Despite playing away from England for the first time, the 29 had mixed success.
The 30-year-old has five clean sheets to his name in his 36 league appearances for the Serie A side. He conceded 62 goals at an average of 1.72 goals per game in a season which saw the club from Turin finish ninth. His impressive performances have led the Italian outfit to ask for his services for the up-cmoing season as well but it is said that the goalkeeper fancies a return to England.
Securing Hart’s signature for next season will come as a massive boost to Slaven Bilic’s side. Goalkeeping had been a spot of bother last season for the Hammers with both Darren Randolph and Adrian struggling to find form.
