Everton have already strengthened their squad by adding 10 new names to their dressing room, including their former young prodigy Wayne Rooney. The Englishman scored the winner for Everton in their season opener against Stoke City.

Everton and Southampton are famous for giving a chance to lot of youngsters to play. It has been a long lasting trend, especially for Southampton, who have lost many prodigal youngsters to the European bigwigs.

According to Sun, both these clubs are on the lookout for the Belgian born sensation, Noah Fadiga. The 17 year old is also a Senegal national, but is currently representing Belgium at the international level.

Everton and Southampton are interested in the talented youngster who currently plays for the Club Brugge youth. He joined the Belgian club from its arch-rivals, Anderlecht, back in 2015.

Fadiga is considered as a teenage boy wonder in Belgium. He has a lot of skills and is very fast. His talents are what made Club Brugge buy him from Anderlecht at the right moment.

It would be a fantastic addition for both the Toffees and the Saints. Fadiga might not break into the first team immediately, but in 3-4 years time, he might be on the verge of doing wonders for the clubs.

England is not the only country from where the youngster is gaining attention. Italian sides, Roma and Genoa are also interested in the youngster. It would be tough for Everton and Southampton to compete with these Italian clubs.

Fadiga’s father Khalilou Fadiga, though, is well known in the British counties, owing to his stint at Bolton Wanderers and Coventry City.

Fadiga Sr. has had heart issues while in Bolton, and had a defibrillator fitted to the heart. Ignoring the medical warnings, with chances of immediate death while playing, he still returned to the pitch and finally announced retirement in 2011.

Discussing his son’s talents, 42-year-old Khalilou said –

Noah has the same skills and mindset that I had.

But he is faster than I was, and he scores more goals as well.
