Super agent, Mino Raiola believes that Napoli star, Lorenzo Insigne could easily make it into the set up at Manchester United, Barcelona or Real Madrid. The Italian forward has been linked with moves away from the city of Naples on numerous occasions.

Insigne is a product of the Napoli Academy. In 2011, lower division side, Foggia signed the player on a co-ownership deal. Insigne scored 19 goals in 33 appearances before returning to the Stadio San Paolo.

The 26-year old is a key player for the Italian club having made 216 appearances across all competitions, scoring 50 times in the period. However, it has not been a successful time in terms of trophies, winning only one Coppa Italia in 2014.

Though Raiola doesn’t represent the player, he believes that the Italian could walk into some of the biggest teams in Europe.

Napoli play football appreciated all over the world, that is obvious and everywhere I go, colleagues ask me about them.

Napoli president, De Laurentiis was seemingly not happy with the super agent’s comments. Raiola shrugged off the displeasure expressed by De Laurentiis by stating it was only his opinion.

De Laurentiis should be happy that Sarri is appreciated.

I merely expressed an opinion, that Insigne could happily play for Barcelona, Real Madrid or Manchester United.

Raiola did not fail to add that modern day football produces two kinds of footballers, the loyal ones and the ones who are puppets to their agent’s actions.

Insigne has a contract. We seem to want players to become slaves of either clubs or agents.

Insigne is one of Serie A’s deadliest forwards at the moment. In recent transfer windows, Liverpool and Barcelona have tried to lure him out of Italy but were immediately turned down by Napoli.

At the age of 26, Insigne is at the make or break stage of his career where he can not put a foot wrong.
