Leeds United had an extremely worked up summer prior to the start of the 2017/18 Championship Campaign. In a summer of changes at Elland Road which saw Thomas Christiansen take over the command from Garry Monk as many as 16 players arrived.
The Whites also lost their top goal-scorer from last season, Chris Wood. However, Christiansen’s men are well placed in the points table with just 11 Match Days complete. The Football Addict rates of all of the summer arrivals purely based on their performances.
Pontus Jansson – 8.5/10
The defender has been rock solid at the back for Leeds United and is the major reason why the team is so highly placed in the Championship table.
Samu Saiz – 8/10
The midfielder has been providing an excellent return on the transfer fee that the club paid for the player with six goals and two assists for the season already.
Ezgjan Alioski – 6/10
Alioski’s transfer was widely celebrated by Leeds fans but his performances have not been up to the mark having scored only once all season.

Sacko was on loan last season but was brought in permanently this time around. But the player has not played much this season with only 33 minutes under his belt.
Mateusz Klich – 5/10
The midfielder has also started just a single game in what has been a disappointing campaign for him so far.
Jay-Roy Grot – 5.5/10
The 19-year-old is certainly one for the future but the youngster was expected to be a little better than what has been inferred from his performances thus far.
Pawel Cibicki – 2/10
The player was unnecessarily brought in and has played just a single game for the club.
Caleb Ekuban – 3/10
Ekuban was brought in to hammer in the goals for Leeds but even he has been involved in just a single game in the season.
Felix Wiedwald – 7.5/10

Andy Lonergan – 4.5/10
Lonergan has been a backup to Wiedwald and has not been given the chance to shine through.
Madger Gomes – 5/10
Another youngster who has not got his chances for the club yet but is certainly talented enough to make it through the first team in the future.
Vurnon Anita – 8/10
Anita was brought in on a free transfer and has been one of the signings of the season for them. He has made the left back position his own and can even slot in as a midfielder on some occasions.
Pierre-Michel Lasogga – 7.5/10
The on-loan striker has been in red-hot form in the Championship having scored three and provided three assists in just five games this season.
Matthew Pennington – 3.5/10
The on-loan defender from Everton has not manned the defence well with the side conceding every time he has been on the pitch.
