With the kind of a spending spree that the Rangers fans saw during the summer, there is no doubt that they have been spoilt for future transfer windows. The recent reports regarding potential transfer targets for the club also do not aim to be humble and are rather audacious, to say the least.

There have been rumours coming in that Rangers might go in for Mirko Vucinic. Despite his age, Vucinic is still considered to be one of the most lethal players in his position and a move for him would make the biggest statement out of all the teams in all of Scotland.

Ranger gaffer, Caixinha has previously shown that he is not afraid of spending in the transfer window to get all the players that he wants. The Montenegro international could be a good shout for the striker position in his squad as well.

Currently, Alfredo Morelos and Carlos Pena are being used by Caixinha alternatively and while it has been smooth riding for his team, Caixinha would love to have the luxury of possessing another proven goal scorer in his squad to cope up with the other teams in the Scottish Premiership.

Vucinic is currently nursing a cruciate ligament injury and is facing some time on the sidelines but the investment in the highly rated forward will be a good one. It could be considered very similar to Manchester United’s new contract offer to Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is also out of action for now.

With a move benefiting both the parties, there is a chance that if Caixinha does decide to go in for Vucinic that the player will accept the contract to continue playing football for some more time and come back from an injury at a great club in Scotland.
