Arsenal fans were given initial scare at the Goodison Park last weekend. However, the duo of Sanchez and Ozil came through as they picked up their team to a comfortable 5-2 victory against Everton.
The Gunners are way off the title race, down in 5th position and 9 points behind Manchester City at the top. Arsene Wenger will seek to improve his side’s position as they face Swansea City at home later tomorrow evening. Here is how we expect the Gunners to lineup on Saturday –
Petr Cech is set to retain his spot between the sticks for the clash against Swansea City. Wenger has been in favour of the 3-man defence since the start of this season.
The trio of Mertesacker, Koscielny and Monreal is expected to protect the Arsenal goal on Saturday.
Arsenal’s midfield has been heavily criticized throughout this season. Lapses in the middle of the park have cost them heavily over the past few game. Xhaka and Ramsey will look to plunge the holes and create play through the centre of the field.
New signing, Kolasinac started on a high but has failed to keep that standard for the Gunners. The Bosnian International will look to replicate his earlier performances for the side and helped them to a victory over the Welsh travellers. Hector Bellerin will be taking up the responsibilities on the other wing.
Ozil and Sanchez have been linked with moves away from the club since the start of this season. However, this didn’t seem to affect them last week as the duo combined to help the Gunners to a victory. They are set to retain their spots in the starting XI on Saturday.
Lacazette has been wonderful in front of goal at The Emirates. The Frenchman will look to continue his form at home as he leads the Arsenal line once again.
