Manchester United beat Benfica 2-0 at Old Trafford on matchday four and took a step closer to the knock out stages. With the help of an own goal from the Benfica keeper and a Daley Blind penalty, the Red Devils managed to scrape off a result against the visitors in an unconvincing performance.
With 12 points from four games, Jose Mourinho’s men need to get a positive result from the next game as well in order to secure their place in the next round while Benfica are out of the competition with zero points until now.

The academy graduate made his full Champions League and looks set for a bright future.
