Hull City are languishing at 18th position on the Championship table and are in dire need of strengthening their side.

The Hull tigers have 40 points from 39 league matches and are hence facing the possibility of reliving the agony of being relegated from the Championship after being relegated from the Premier League the season before.

There have been signs of improvement after having secured a series of positive results in the recent weeks but they’re still just avoiding the hanging sword by four points. There have hence been talks of signing Ryan Christie to improve their performance for next season.

The Celtic wide man has been on loan at Aberdeen from Celtic for the season. The 23-year-old Scotland international has put in brilliant performances for the Dons this season which hasn’t gone unnoticed by Tigers boss Nigel Adkins.  He has chalked up eight goals and 14 assists in 36 appearances in all competitions for Aberdeen

Christie is a right midfielder by trade, full of energy and is very pacey going forward. He can be deployed either as a winger or as a conventional number 10 which are pretty much all the attributes needed by Hull City.

It will be very difficult for Hull City to get their attacking man though. Celtic boss Brendon Rodgers is said to be very impressed by the 23-year-old’s form on loan and hence he could look to extend his contract beyond the solitary year remaining on his deal.

Aberdeen too have been exploring the possibility of making his loan move permanent too which would definitely hamper Hull’s changes.
