Leeds United who have had a rather poor season in the English second division have seemingly already started their revamp for the next season. Paul Heckingbottom’s sides chances for making the play-off round look very slim.
Latest media reports have linked the club with a move for League One star Jon Nolan. The Everton academy graduate would be a great addition to the Elland Road club, adding great stability and control in midfield.
The 25-year-old has featured for five different English clubs before signing a deal at the start of the current season with Shrewsbury Town.
With eight goals and six assists to his credit in 37 league appearances, it’s only a matter of time before Nolan takes a leap in his career.
Reports suggest that a couple of English clubs would be keen on completing the signing of Jon Nolan including the likes of Sunderland, Sheffield Wednesday, Norwich City and Ipswich Town.
Nolan is known for his excellent positioning and movement in the centre of the field. His agility enables him to quickly move away from dangerous areas and also set up his team in the attack.
At just 25 years of age, Nolan has a lot to learn and improve. The midfielder has already represented the England 3 side but certainly has a lot to work on before receiving his maiden England call-up.
