According to a latest report published by Daily Record, Rangers would not be missing out on the opportunity of signing Jamie Murphy on a permanent deal from English side Brighton and Hove Albion.
It is understood that Rangers have the first option to convert the loan move into a permanent one.
The Gers are seeking to exercise their power and complete the signing of the 28 year old Scotland International at the end of the current season.
Murphy has impressed during his brief stay at the club with four goals and six assists to his credit in just 12 appearances. There is certainly no doubt that the winger has made a name for himself with dedicated performances week in week out.
The Scottish International has also stated in recent weeks about his keenness to permanently move to the Ibrox Stadium following his successful loan stint.
The Daily Record had previously claimed that if Rangers wish to make the deal permanent, it would cost them somewhere in the region of £1.7 million to £2 million.
With the common interest of both the concerned parties known, the Rangers faithful can look forward to the prospect of Jamie Murphy running riot through the left flank once again next season.
