Manchester United star Marouane Fellaini signed for the Red Devils back in 2013 when David Moyes took over the reign at the Old Trafford from Sir Alex Ferguson. The Belgian international has been part of five years which have been full of ups and downs at the Premier League club.
Till today he has made 102 appearances for the club and scored 12 times in the course of the last 5 years. His contract at the Old Trafford runs out at the end of this season and it seems like the former Everton man is moving out to taste new pastures.
Manchester United have seemingly denied offering the Belgian a new contract. Fellaini is now the subject of offers from a host of teams looking for his signature in the summer transfer window.
According to the Mirror UK, French giants Monaco and Paris St. Germain are both considered to be running the race for Fellaini’s signature. In the run are also a few clubs from the eastern part of the world- the Chinese Super League- and Turkish giants Besiktas.
With a few names emerging, one of them are Premier League rivals of Manchester United, Liverpool, which could turn out to be a shocking destination for Fellaini, considering that they are direct rivals to Manchester United and Everton. Jurgen Klopp has built Liverpool considerably well this season and has had a good run of results.
The Reds are also just ninety minutes away from winning a UEFA Champions League final, a stage which not many would have expected them to reach. The former Borussia Dortmund boss has now turned his head towards a midfield overhaul at the Anfield.
Marouane Fellaini is a probable option to partner with new arrival Naby Keita from Germany in the summer. It is also expected that Klopp will bring in a playmaker.
