Pablo Zabaleta has issued a warning to fans stating that new boss, Manuel Pellegrini could continue to struggle at the London Stadium.

The club have got off to the worst possible start in the 2018/19 Premier League campaign. With four losses in the first four games, it seems a huge uphill task for Pellegrini & Co. post the International Break.

However, the story thus far is far different from what it promised to be in the summer. The summer window saw the club spend a healthy sum on signing players along with the arrival of a Premier League winning manager in Manuel Pellegrini.

This is not the first time Pellegrini & Zabaleta have been on the same side, the duo previously worked together at Manchester City. The right-back reckons that Pellegrini would continue to struggle solely due to the lack of quality in his side.

The Argentine told the Sun –

You trust in the way he works because of the teams he has worked with before,

The thing for Manuel is that for the first time maybe he doesn’t have the same quality in the team like he had before.

So maybe it will take more time than at other clubs for him to get everything right.

At Manchester City there was so much quality, we won games easily. Here it’s not the same.

Post the International Break, the Hammers travel to Goodison Park to face Everton. Followed by home fixtures against Arsenal & Manchester United. Keeping in mind the poor results in the opening round of fixtures, the West Ham faithful feel that the club could be heading towards another relegation battle.
